Dependable Components
Versatec units feature bi-directional thermal expansion valves (TXVs) for maximum unit efficiency
over a broad operating temperature range, eliminating the need for water regulating valves and
preventing nuisance unit faults. Oversized, three-row air coils increase unit capacity,
improve efficiency and maximize moisture removal. All units have a factory-installed liquid-line
refrigerant filter dryer to ensure the integrity of the refrigerant circuit.
Choice of Controls
Versatec models are available with a choice of controls – basic electromechanical or advanced
microprocessor controls loaded with useful features. These microprocessor controls include fault
retry, short-cycle protection, random start timing, brownout protection, emergency shutdown,
condensate overflow, unit diagnostics, and night setback control with the TA32U02 thermostat.
